麻豆社 Belongings 04/12/2020

Bringing people together from our different cultures and communities in Suffolk.

This week we hear from Survivors in Transition about TOPE LINE, a new outreach service for young people effected by abuse, we talk to Nadia and Naomi, two of the young people who instigated the Black Lives Matters Protest and subsequent empowerment projects in Woodbridge and as 2020 is set to be one of the hottest years in recorded history, we hear from Jane Healey from Transition Woodbridge to talk about whether we have neglected to consider the climate in this difficult year. We also have two young poets share very different, powerful and creative poetry that they have been writing - as part of our poets of the pandemic series. The show includes a sprinkle of the weekly Words of Wellbeing - where the people of Suffolk share thoughts resilience, wellbeing, and creative ways to survive these tough times.
