Short Story: Untitled
Looking down on the neighbours. Written by Peggy Freeman, read by Julie Langford.
This story was written by Peggy Freeman in the 1980s and sent in posthumously by her son Chris' partner.
Marilyn told us: "Peggy's story doesn't quite fit the criteria of having been written during the lockdown, but it bears all the hallmarks of isolation that lockdown brings.聽Set in a block of flats, an old lady peers down through her window into the outside world, and struggles to understand the people she is isolated from."
If you're feeling creative, write a story of up to 750 words and send to leedsupforarts@bbc.co.uk - and it could end up on the radio!
