Covid-19: The cells that could bolster your immunity
Antibodies are raised by the body during infection by Covid-19 and can offer varying levels of immunity against re-infection but their effectiveness declines over time. However, T cells, which also play a role in the body's immune response against Covid-19, seem to remain active. Dr Marcus Buggert from the Karolina Institute, has been exploring the T cell response and explains the implications of this research.
