Radio 1鈥檚 film critic Ali Plumb caught up with Simon Pegg about his latest film, Lost Transmissions, and while they were chatting, Ali couldn鈥檛 resist asking what collectibles he might have around the house.

Self-confessed nerd Simon did not disappoint, coming straight back with, 鈥淚鈥檓 in the place for memorabilia!鈥�. He then panned the camera to, 鈥渢he shelf of me鈥�, which he dubbed, 鈥渕y secret shame鈥�.

He explained how the haul of miniature figurines was: 鈥淎ll the toys that you can get that are of me, and Nick [Frost] is involved as well. I could be criticised for having that shelf of all my stuff, but then you f* would, wouldn鈥檛 you?! Excuse me.鈥�

He revealed a present given to him by Lisa Henson, CEO, and President of the Jim Henson company, before going through into the other room to show-off the life-size Stormtrooper, his wife gave him for Christmas, complete with an honorary member badge.

Anyone else thinking that the contents of their living room are fairly average now?
