‘It’s not a good look for tennis’ – Jamie Murray on Djokovic’s Adria Tour
Tennis star Jamie Murray has criticised the behaviour of players at the Adria Tour event in Belgrade after three of them tested positive for Covid-19.
Speaking to Â鶹Éç Radio 5 Live, Murray said the lack of social distancing at the tournament, set up by Novak Djokovic, was “daft" and "not a good look for tennis".
Murray, who has seven Grand Slam doubles titles, has organised the Battle of the Brits competition which starts on 23 June at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
He said the tournament, which features Britain’s top male players, will follow stringent protocols to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
