Being a travel influencer during lockdown
Nearly 75 million jobs are at risk in the global travel industry, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council. In India alone, the industry is facing a loss of 1.3 billion dollars due to the virus outbreak. We spoke with聽one of India's top travel influencers, Ankita Kumar, whose聽content and earnings rely heavily upon her full-time travel schedules. But she is currently social distancing on her own at her home in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. The ongoing rigorous lockdown across the country has meant her work dried up overnight. She spoke about how the lockdown has impacted work as a travel influencer.聽(Visuals by Ankita Kumar)
