Audio: Sala felt 'forced out' of Nantes before plane crash
It's been a year since Emiliano Sala, the striker from Nantes, who had signed for Cardiff City just days earlier, died in a plane crash off the Channel Islands.
Sala was playing for the French side when he signed to the Bluebirds for a record 拢15 million fee.
Two days after the deal he got on a light aircraft from Nantes to visit his new club Cardiff but the plane vanished from radar in the English Channel. The searches for the Argentinian player and the pilot David Ibbotson went on for days and eventually Sala's body was found in the wreckage of the plane.
A year on it 's emerged just how unhappy Sala was at FC Nantes.
Kayley Thomas from the 麻豆社 Wales News Investigations Team has been to Nantes to speak to some of those who knew him.
