Guernsey's only private boys school - Elizabeth College - will accept girls of all ages in future. It marks the end of almost 500 years of tradition. The aim is to allow girls to join Years 7 and 12 from September next year, with the school being entirely co-educational by 2025.

One local student is exploring how music and song can preserve the local language Guernsey French.
