Many women feel desperate because of lack of local treatment options for endometriosis

In Kenya, some women have opted to seek treatment abroad.This is what inspired a group of doctors to organize a workshop in Kenya on surgical management of endometriosis. Led by an international team of doctors, the training is aimed at equipping Kenyan doctors with the surgical skills of managing advanced endometriosis and gynaecological cancers.
