The blind astronomer capturing data with music
Inclusive design author Kat Holmes talks to Gareth Mitchell about Puerto Rican astronomer Wanda D铆az-Merced's sonification innovations. Wanda went completely blind in her twenties and has used audio technology to turn data from her telescopes into sound. These methods are now being used by astronomers with sight as mainstream techniques to interpret data.
