Minister not consulted about Parliament suspension plan
The Northern Ireland Secretary has admitted he wasn't involved in the government's plan to suspend - or prorogue
- Parliament. Julian Smith was responding to an urgent question about the impact of closing Westminster while Northern Ireland has no functioning government. David Cornock reports.
