Research by the United Nations department of economic and social affairs indicates that there is increased use of modern contraceptives by women in the eastern and Southern parts of Africa. Whereas some governments have prioritized the family planning agenda some of the women in the continent are still reluctant to use birth control products. The panel discusses this further.
