Royals boss Jose Gomes admits the Championship is very competitive after Hull loss.

The defeat means that Reading haven't picked up any points in their first two league games.

"This league is amazing," Gomes told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "It's very competitive.

"We must be humble, work properly, don't think because we have 4, 5, 6 top players... the league will give us the three points."

And Gomes revealed that Mo Barrow is on the brink of leaving the club.

"He's trying to finish his agreement in Turkey.

"I don't know if in this time they already did it or not."
