Fatima Bhutto: Why I have sympathy for radicalised young people
Fatima Bhutto’s grandfather Zulfikar Ali and her aunt, Benazir, were both Prime Ministers of Pakistan. Both died in violent circumstances. Her father Murtaza opposed his sister’s government and was assassinated when Fatima was only 14. Fatima's latest novel, The Runaways, is about the radicalisation of young people. Why should we be empathetic towards them? She spoke to Â鶹Éç Radio 4's Woman's Hour presenter Jenni Murray.
