Trafficked woman granted clemency

Cyntoia Brown says she was forced into prostitution and feared for her life when she shot a real estate agent in the head in Nashville in 2004. Two years later, she was tried as an adult and convicted for murder when she was just 16. In one of his final acts in office, Governor Bill Haslam ordered her release and said Ms Brown had been given too harsh a sentence. The young woman will now be freed on parole in August. Raumesh Akbari -- a Democratic senator in Tennessee -- met Mr Haslam a few weeks ago asking him to consider clemency. She's been reacting to the governor's decision.
