'Mumpreneur': Is the term empowering or patronising?
The term 鈥渕umpreneur鈥 entered the Collins dictionary in 2011 and is defined as 鈥渁 woman who combines running a business enterprise with looking after her children鈥. So why has new research revealed that more than 60% of British business women think the term 鈥渕umpreneur鈥 is unhelpful and nearly half find it patronising? Jenni talks to the founder of Green and Blacks, Jo Fairley, and to Erin Thomas Wong who founded the Making Mumpreneurs network.
