Problems at Birmingham Prison probed by MPs
MPs have been told that Ministers considered ending G4S's contract to run Birmingham Prison in 2016 but decided to let the security firm have the chance to improve its performance.
This summer a damning inspection report led to the jail being taken over temporarily by the Prison Service. Rebecca Drought reports.
