The Jersey Reds had a chance to make history today.
A win in the Championship Cup against Ealing Trailfinders would have been their eleventh in a row - a modern club record - and given the winner the opportunity of a home quarter-final once this competition enters its knock-out stages.
Ultimately, the Reds couldn't get the win - and were beaten 20-16 by the visitors in awful conditions at St Peter.
