'...there's something magic about being in the ring...' - Monika Markowska on kick-boxing and the European Championships
She's spent the past few weeks testing herself against some of the best that kick-boxing has to offer - and it's fair to say Jersey's Monika Markowska has done rather well.
She emerged with wins over opponents in Germany and the UK in her two most recent bouts - and says THAT is the perfect preparation for the upcoming European Championships in Slovenia.
Our Sport Producer Jack Murley has been to meet her at a very early training session at Fort Regent.
