In 1974 Muhammad Ali fought undefeated world heavyweight champion George Foreman in Kinshasa, then the capital of Zaire, in the now-famous Rumble in the Jungle.

Promoter Don King secured $5m for each fighter: Foreman was considered the big favourite, while Ali, then 32, was thought by many to be past his best.
Ali won by knockout, putting Foreman down in the eighth round.
