'England back row options starting to look pretty bare'

Rugby Union Weekly look at England's back row options after it was announced that Billy Vunipola will miss England's autumn internationals with a broken arm.

The number eight sustained the injury whilst playing in Saracens' Champions Cup victory over Glasgow Warriors on Sunday.

Monye said: "The (England) back row used to be such an area of strength in numbers and options for Eddie Jones, and it's starting to look pretty bare.

"The whole dynamic of the back row massively changes now."

England scrum-half Danny Care joined Ugo Monye and Chris Jones in the latest episode of Rugby Union Weekly.

Care added: "It's awful news for Saracens and England, but mainly for Billy. You really feel for him"

England play South Africa, New Zealand, Japan and Australia next month.
