Women in physics

A professor was reprimanded after a "highly offensive" presentation on gender and physics

An Italian physics professor has been reprimanded by the nuclear laboratory CERN, in Switzerland, after what it called a "highly offensive" presentation about women in science. Dr Jess Wade, who attended the event, says Professor Alessandro Strumia cited "really dodgy gender science and right wing thinkers" to argue "women weren't as good at physics".
