The Other Side - The One with Nigel Owens
The Other Side is the 麻豆社's first and only show looking at LGBTQ+ individuals and groups in sport, telling stories that don't usually get spoken about and showing that sport is a place where everyone belongs.
If you've ever watched the Six Nations or a Rugby World Cup game, you'll recognise the voice of today's guest. Referee Nigel Owens has become one of the most respected names in the sport - and has been speaking to us during a visit to the Channel Islands to speak at the Jersey Reds.
On the agenda - becoming a referee; the impact of social media on recruiting new officials; coming out publicly in the world of rugby; and when he's going to call time on his refereeing career.
If you've got a story for The Other Side, why not get in touch by emailing jack.murley@bbc.co.uk or Tweeting @jack_murley. And if you've enjoyed what you've heard, why not share this episode on social media so others can hear it as well.
