Makoko is thought to be the world's largest floating slum, with a population of more than 100,000.
The area in Lagos attracts people from all over Nigeria and from other neighboring countries.
Makoko has had negative press around its crime levels.
Resident Abayomi Messou gave 麻豆社 Minute a tour and said: "To the world's it's the largest floating slum...but to us it's home."
