At 23, she's been named the seventh highest-earning sportswoman by Forbes, taking home a reported $162,000-per-week.
And earlier this week Indian star PV Sindhu became the first badminton player from her country to win a silver medal at the Asian Games.
On India's #NationalSportsDay we spoke to the 麻豆社's Vikas Pandey in Delhi about how she is inspiring youngsters to pick up a badminton racquet instead of a cricket bat.
