Reading FC: Paul Clement frustrated by second Blackburn penalty
The Royals boss felt the referee got his second penalty decision wrong in Blackburn draw.
After conceding one penalty, which Paul Clement felt was clear cut, he felt there was no contact in the tackle for the second Blackburn penalty, and hence feels it shouldn't have stood as he watched his side draw 2-2 in the Championship.
"Two penalties. The first is a penalty, it's clear," Clement told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "The second is not clear.
"At the time, I thought 'What's that been given for?'.
"Having looked back at the video, for me, there's no contact, therefore it's no penalty."
And Clement said he was left ruing that decision as he saw his side give away a two goal lead.
"Before the game, if you're going to get a point at Blackburn, we'll take that based on where we've been.
"On reflection, we're disappointed, they're more satisfied having come from behind."
