Over the last twenty years, hundreds of luxurious mansions have been appearing in the Kharian region of the Punjab, built by people who left the area to make their fortune abroad. But who will end up living in them? The owner of one, Ghulam Abbas, spent 40 years in Norway, earning the money to build the dream house his son wished for. But this may never be the home he dreamt it would be.
