Click-and-ride buses: the big taxis you can book
Councils across England and Wales have cut their spending on buses by half since 2010. Since then, more than 3000 bus routes have gone and it has left millions of people without a regular service. Could a new style of bus service be the answer? One of the five big operators, Arriva, has been running a pilot in Sittingbourne, Kent. It鈥檚 coming to Liverpool later this summer and it's a cross between a bus and a taxi. Chrissie Reidy has been to try out the service with her smartphone in hand. Winifred Robinson presents.
