Five years ago Kirstie Trup and Katie Gee were attacked with acid while volunteering in Zanzibar. Katie was left with thirty percent burns on her body and lost an ear and Kirstie needed skin grafts on her face, arm, and shoulder. In their first interview together since the attack, they talk about their road to recovery and the impact on their friendship.
