"Absolutely there would have been dinosaurs in Basingstoke"
麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker was joined by paleontologist Dr Steve Brusatte, he has a new book out, and explained that as far as dinosaur discovery goes...this is just the beginning.
Dr Steve Brusatte:
"We are learning a lot of new things, absolutely there are dinosaurs still to be found. We are right in the middle of a golden age of paleontology right now - we are finding a new dinosaur once a week on average.
"There is a limited supply, but with dinosaurs we really are just at the beginning.
"Absolutely there would have been dinosaurs in Basingstoke...there might not be fossils there but that's just because it's so hard to preserve a fossil."
