Scott Hutchison鈥檚 love letter to Glasgow School of Art

This clip of Scott Hutchison performing a specially commissioned song is taken from a 2009 麻豆社 Scotland documentary about the Glasgow School of Art made by Scottish filmmaker, Louise Lockwood.

Herself an Art School graduate, Louise asked fellow ex-student Hutchison if he would create something for the documentary inspired by the 鈥楾he Mack鈥.

He agreed to write and perform a new song 鈥楲earned Your Name鈥 about the iconic building designed by fellow Scot, Charles Rennie Mackintosh using the sounds of the building as percussion on the track.

Louise said:
鈥淜nowing the music of his band Frightened Rabbit I was excited to hear what he would produce. The resulting song 鈥楲earned Your Name鈥 is imaginative, emphatic and beautiful, just like the lovely man I was so lucky to have met.鈥
