Alternative therapy 'claims are very seductive'

Jean Slocombe, a specialist information nurse for Cancer Research UK, shares her views on alternative cancer therapies.

"When people are in a very hard position, these claims are very seductive."

"And my job as a nurse really, if people are ringing up about it, is not to say 'don鈥檛 do this, don鈥檛 take it,' but think carefully, do your research," she added.

"That is what I want people to do."
