The Cure's Robert Smith chats exclusively to 6 Music Breakfast's Matt Everitt

Robert Smith of The Cure is curating the 25th annual Meltdown Festival at London's Southbank Centre following in the footsteps of Patti Smith, David Bowie, Nick Cave and Guy Garvey amongst others.

He's been given free reign to stage his own cultural festival - music, arts, theatre, spoken word, installations, dance, film...anything he likes. It all takes place across the Southbank Centre from 15-24 June and the line up includes:
