Measuring popular support for Vladimir Putin is difficult as he controls the media and there is little political competition in Russia today. Nonetheless it does seem that President Putin enjoys a degree of support, especially among the over 60s who remember the Soviet Union and the difficult 1990s. Carrie Gracie has been speaking to Valentina Levina, a 78 year old Moscow resident, about why she is going to vote for President Putin in March 18 elections.
