A new report suggests keeping older people in work is a good idea
When we talk about an ageing population we often focus on health and social care - the needs of older people and how they can be met. But a report released today by the Centre for Ageing Better says that keeping older people in work could add 拢18bn to annual GDP. What should we be doing now to adjust to an age in which the number of people over 85 will double in the next 20 years?
