What chance have I got?β by Amina Atiq
22-year-old Amina Atiq moved to Liverpool from Yemen when she was four.
To mark 100 years since some women got the vote, her poem βWhat chance have I got?β questions identity, the pay gap and sexism.
βThey tell us we have gained in numbers, colours and voices, but what is numbers, colours in a room full of men?β said Amina.
As a creative writing student at Liverpool John Moores University, Amina continues to develop her writing and βgive a voice to the voicelessβ.
