One time Spinal Tap bassist Derek Smalls is back!

Following a remarkable career with Britain's loudest band, Derek is delivering his first solo album - Smalls Change, Meditations on Ageing which is coming out on April 13. Derek joined Sp谋n虉al Tap in 1967 after the departure of their original bassist Ronnie Pudding and has become something of an icon alongside his bandmates David St. Hubbins and Nigel Tufnel - of course playing lead bass on their hit Big Bottom and penning their famous instrumental Jazz Odyssey.

And he has enlisted some amazing musicians for Smalls Changes - including Peter Frampton, Donald Fagen, Dweezil Zappa, Rick Wakeman, Richard Thompson, Steve Lukather, Joe Satriani, Paul Shaffer, Steve Vai, Larry Carlton, Judith Owen, Jane Lynch and The Hungarian Studio Orchestra.

The album includes soon to be classics like Butt Call, MRI, Memo To Willie, Rock 'n' Roll Transplant, Hell Toupee and When Men Did Rock and
