'We were very disappointed that beds had to close'
As well as saving money, much of the drive behind the Dorset CCG's Clinical Services Review is to have more patients cared for in the community - in their own homes as well as at community hospitals like Swanage, Wareham and Shaftesbury.
However the CCG's planned re-organisation means some community hospital beds will be lost.
So where does that leave community hospitals? And where do they "fit in" to the wider provision of care in Dorset?
