Long Interview: Vicky Pryce
This week鈥檚 Long Interview subject is the economist Vicky Price. A high-flying career, culminating in a post as Joint Head of the Government Economic Service, was derailed in 2013, when Pryce and her former husband, the MP Chris Huhne, were convicted of perverting the course of justice and sentenced to eight months in prison. As a result of her experience, she wrote Prisonomics, in which she argues the public expenditure case for alternatives to prison for women. Bill Whiteford talks to her about her career, her prison experience and the current economic landscape.
