Jodie Foster on directing Black Mirror’s ‘Arkangel’
Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed Netflix series imagines frightening visions of the future that new technology is leading us towards. Season four’s Jodie Foster directed episode ‘Arkangel’ delves into the role of parental control and surveillance in children’s lives.
Speaking to 5 live about her episode Foster said that the story spoke to her because “as a mother of two boys I think about this a lot, about the idea of wanting to keep our children safe, wanting to use any means necessary.”
Black Mirror season 4 is available to stream on Netflix from December 29th.
