Why children in China loved Blue Planet II
David Attenborough’s latest series has now come to an end. Blue Planet II brought bird-eating fish, an octopus disguised in a shell suit and surfing dolphins into the living rooms of millions of people.
But the series wasn’t just popular in the UK, with more than 100 million people watching the programme in China. At one point, there were so many Chinese viewers downloading the programme that it slowed down the entire country’s internet.
The series was also particularly popular with children across China. Watch the video above to see why some of them loved it.
