Move Bank of England from London to Birmingham?
Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has launched a report which suggests moving the Bank of England 110 miles north from London to Birmingham, England's second-largest city.
Graham Turner from GFC Economics, author of the Financing Investment report, told Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn it would spread investment across the country.
She also spoke about with the idea with Dawn Butler, a Labour MP for north London, and Conservative Andrew Mitchell, whose Sutton Coldfield seat is close to Birmingham.
