The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton says the debate over pay for the top job at Britain's universities is being driven by journalists and politicians.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton, Professor Nick Petford, says the debate over pay for the top job at Britain's universities is being driven by journalists and politicians. On the Breakfast Show, Doctor Ron Mendel, who's a lecturer at the University of Northampton and President of the Northampton Trades Council, says the issue won't blow over and that action to address it is set to happen.
