Government set itself 'impossible task' on Brexit, says Blair
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has said what the government is trying to negotiate on the single market for Brexit is "fundamentally unnegotiable".
Mr Blair told The World This Weekend "they've set themselves an impossible task".
He added that, while the government had "perfectly good intentions", a deal that allowed the UK to get out of the single market but recreate all of its benefits was "not going to happen".
