Acid survivors take to the catwalk
Eight acid attack survivors from Bangladesh will take to the catwalk in London. They'll be modelling clothes from Bangladeshi model and fashion designer Bibi Russell. Charity ActionAid is organising the event, and they hope it will highlight the experiences of acid attack survivors and draw attention to violence against women. Qasa is joined by Nahar Nurun, who features in the show and describes the moment she was attacked. Also speaking to Qasa is Farah Kabir, the country director for ActionAid Bangladesh, who discusses how she came up with the idea for the show.
