Matt Lucas has said he wasn't able to do a second series of Come Fly With Me because he needed time to grieve after the death of his former partner.

The Little Britain actor and comedian said anyone going through the death of someone they love to not should not put off their grief however 'painful'.

Kevin McGee took his own life in 2009 and at the time Lucas was preparing to make the first series of the comedy series with David Walliams.
