Reading FC: 'I can understand the fans are frustrated'
The Royals boss Jaap Stam knows how tough this run of results is on the Reading fans.
The Royals have now their worst points tally after 10 games in a non-Premier League season since 1999 after defeat to Norwich on Saturday.
"I can understand the fans are frustrated," Stam told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "I don't need to tell you how we're feeling ourselves as well.
"We're not playing in a competition with teams that we can easily beat...they're all very hard to beat."
But Stam, somewhat in jest, is confident he is the right man for the job.
"If people think they can get a better manager who is better for the team then they need to make that decision. I don't think there is.
"That's a joke of course, but that's how it goes."
