Nearly 200 MPs want energy price cap
MPs from across three parties are calling on the prime minister to force Ofgem to cap energy prices.
Conservative MP John Penrose said the regulator was doing "far too little" to bring down bills and the body was asking for Parliament to pass a law to give it powers it already had.
He spoke to Daily Politics presenter Sarah Smith about the letter from 192 Labour, Tory and SNP MPs, to follow up on manifesto pledges.
Journalists Trevor Kavanagh and Rachel Shabi offered their views, before the MP was then asked about a letter from other MPs, which he did not sign, about universal credit.
