What prompts us to relocate to a new place?
We often spend time thinking about relocating - should I move out of the city, what about returning to my hometown, could I live abroad? As part of our series on the Best Place to be a Woman, we asked you to tell us if you’d recently made a big move. Judy is 58 and now lives in the suburbs of Birmingham with her mum, having spent the last 18 years bringing her family up in Bristol. Kimberley and her husband and kids are finally in permanent housing after being made homeless – they were helped by the charity Shelter. And Louise got in touch with us about her move just before her 40th birthday. She’s recently changed her life dramatically – she now lives in Brighton with her dog Basil after over a decade in London. It was a diagnosis of breast cancer which got her thinking…
