The electrification work that's been disrupting trains in the West
If you can't wait for the long promised high speed electric trains, there's a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Literally.
The electrification engineers are just finishing a tricky tunnel on the line between Swindon and Bristol Parkway.
It's only 2 miles long, but it's taken four weeks working round the clock to install the electric lines for the new trains.
That's four weeks of buses from parts of Wiltshire to get to Wales.
